More detail: the full write-up
Best for routine maintenance on small to mid bikes: oil change, filter, chain, simple electrical. Walk in early when the queue is light. For used-bike purchases or bigger repairs, slow down. Get a written quote, inspect the bike yourself, and don't pay deposit on freebies that aren't on paper. The mechanics can do the work. The terms around it need you to push back.
The lowdown. Used bike dealer and general servicing workshop in Pioneer Point on Soon Lee Street, near Pioneer MRT in Jurong West. The floor handles second-hand sales, COE renewals, and walk-in maintenance: engine oil, filters, chains, batteries, starters, brake bits, tyre patches. Closed Sundays.
What riders say. Ask for the Indian mechanic on the floor. He fixes tyre leaks, swaps clutch cables, and walks you through what your bike actually needs. The uncle at the front is direct and quick on routine work. Engine oil and filter changes go fast when the queue is short.
The flip side is the queue. The shop runs busy and walk-in jobs often jump bikes left for the day. Drop-offs have sat untouched until evening.
Pricing is the other friction. Starter motor and relay jobs have been quoted well above what other Singapore shops charge. On used-bike purchases, inspect after handover. Fuel tank seepage, worn brake pads, and near-due tyres have surfaced. One COE renewal came with bundled NTUC third-party cover, a missing NCD discount, and follow-up work left undone.
