More detail: the full write-up

Best for riders who want a brand-new Yamaha scooter or small bike on a lease-to-own plan and prefer a salesman who will pick up the phone at odd hours. Less ideal if you want a wide multi-brand showroom or a fixed handover date with no COE wobble. Settle the package, deposit terms and handover window in writing on day one, and the rest of the process runs smoothly.

The lowdown. Lease-to-own motorcycle dealer tucked inside Link@AMK in Ang Mo Kio. The shop sells brand-new bikes (mostly Yamaha scooters and small-capacity bikes) on lease-to-own packages, and also handles straight rentals. Walk in, pick a bike, work out the package, drive away once the COE and paperwork clear. Open every day, 10am to 7pm.

What riders say. Two names do most of the work on the floor: Dino and Shun Jie (Jackson). Buyers come in chasing specific Yamahas (NMax Turbo, Aerox, Xmax V2, ADV350, R15M, Spark) and leave with a written breakdown of the lease-to-own structure. Both salesmen are reachable late, including past midnight on WhatsApp, and both make a point of explaining package terms line by line before deposit. The selling style is patient and chatty rather than hard-closing.

Very transparent, honest and upfront about everything.

Not every deal is friction-free. COE registration delays on new bikes have stretched handover timelines, and at least one buyer ended up in a deposit dispute after a stalled handover. Pin the handover date and refund terms in writing before paying anything.
