More detail: the full write-up

Best for owners who want factory-trained Honda service, full warranty coverage, and a properly run sales process for a new bike. The dealership side is excellent, especially for first-time buyers navigating COE and finance. The workshop is fine for warranty and major jobs but no longer the cheapest or fastest option for routine servicing. If you ride a Honda for work and need quick turnaround, line up an independent for the small jobs and keep Boon Siew for valve clearances and warranty claims.

The lowdown. Honda's authorised dealer and service centre on Ubi Road 3, inside the Kah Motor showroom. New-bike sales cover the full Singapore Honda range, ADV160, Rebel 500, NC750X, NX400, Forza 350 and 750, X-ADV, Hornet 750, GB350S, Africa Twin, and the 50th Anniversary Goldwing. The workshop handles warranty work, scheduled servicing, valve clearance, diagnostics and parts. Closed Sundays. Saturday hours run shorter than the posted 5:30pm.

What riders say. Sales is the strong half. Jason, Leon, Khairil, Yang, CS and Khai get named again and again for clear breakdowns of price, COE, insurance and collection timing. Buyers mention being walked through fickle decisions over weeks or months without pressure, and salespeople staying past closing to hand over bikes. Updates through the wait for stock or homologation are frequent.

The service centre is more uneven. Vishnu (Vishnunesan) and Alan draw repeat praise for diagnosis and follow-through on jobs like valve clearance. Outside those two, frontline tone can be brusque, with walk-ins greeted curtly even after phoning ahead. Pricing is the other sore point. Labour at S$60 an hour, a fuel-pump injector quoted at S$480, and full-service bills running into four figures push some long-time owners to independents.

"Honda used to be known for simple, reliable bikes and good service. I believe they changed personnel at the service centre about two years ago, and it shows."
