More detail: the full write-up
Good fit if you want an honest mechanic who treats a Hayabusa or Ducati with the same care as a commuter, and who will tell you when a part doesn't actually need changing. Best for owners who value clear diagnosis over a fancy reception. Woodlands is the catch if you live south, but the trip is what regulars make peace with. Message ahead to confirm a slot before you ride up.
The lowdown. Independent motorcycle workshop tucked in Woodlands Industrial Park E5, second floor. Run by mechanic Ah Long, who set up shop after years working out of Defu Lane. The bay is small but tidy. Day to day it's general servicing, diagnostics, fork and steering cone work, valve clearance jobs and brake replacements. Big bikes welcome.
What riders say. The range of bikes is wide. Hayabusas, Ducatis, GSX-R1000s and CB superfours all show up alongside smaller commuters. Ah Long is the draw. He pinpoints faults during troubleshooting, explains the scope clearly, and keeps owners updated through the job. Old parts come back to you with a walkthrough of where the wear sat.
Won't get chopped here.
Pricing lands as reasonable and transparent. He gives options instead of pushing the most expensive route, and flags what genuinely needs replacement versus what can stay. The bay itself is clean, tools off the floor, and bikes go back to owners without grease smears. Engine oil stocked includes Eni, Motul and Silkolene. Long-term regulars have followed him for a decade or more.
