More detail: the full write-up
First stop for Honda CB400 Super Four owners in Singapore who want a workshop that will actually explain the fault. Suspension and engine work are the strengths, and the transparency on stripped parts is genuine. Less ideal if you want fixed-menu pricing or a quick in-and-out without conversation. Ask for Elson, confirm the scope and the dollar figure before the spanners come out, and take photos of any parts flagged for replacement.
The lowdown. Motorcycle parts shop and workshop in Kaki Bukit, tucked into Gate 1 of the industrial block on Ave 4. The bench is built around the Honda CB400 Super Four, with owner Elson and mechanics like Suresh handling servicing, fork and shock work, top-end overhauls, electrical diagnosis and accessory fitment. Walk-in for tyre punctures, book ahead for bigger jobs.
What riders say. This is a CB400 destination first. S4 riders come for engine work, V-TEC issues and suspension rebuilds, and leave talking about how much Elson explained along the way. Diagnosis is hands-on. The mechanics trace wiring, photograph engine internals, strip the motor in front of you on camera, and hand back the old parts. A courtesy bike has been offered during overhauls. Other Hondas and bigger bikes get worked on too, including a Triumph Tiger 660 accessory fit. Punctures are quick and cheap, around ten minutes for a nail in the rear.
Friction is real and worth knowing. There is no posted price list, so prices only become clear once you ask. A few riders have walked away feeling upsold on parts they did not think needed replacing, particularly on suspension and V-TEC components. Waits get long when the floor is full.
