More detail: the full write-up
Best for Woodlands and northern riders who want a steady neighbourhood shop for tyres, EO, CVT work and the occasional bigger job, on Honda or Yamaha scooters and mid-capacity bikes. Get every recommended part written down before work starts, and flag fairing or exhaust concerns up front on faired bikes. If you want the regular treatment, ask for Ah Long and bring the bike on a weekday morning before the queue builds.
The lowdown. Neighbourhood motorcycle workshop in Woodlands Industrial Park E9, sharing a unit with Premium Import Trading. Tyres, engine oil, CVT servicing, brake pads, fork work, fuel pumps and full overhauls all happen here. Scooters and big bikes both go through the bay. Ah Long runs the floor, with Ezad, Faisal and Wai on the tools. Open daily 9.30am to 7.30pm, closed Sundays.
What riders say. Most visits start with tyres or a service and grow from there once the bike is on the lift. Ah Long checks brakes, fork, CVT belt and clutch before recommending work, and routinely talks owners out of jobs that can wait. CB400, ADV160, NC750, XMAX 300, X-ADV 750 and Tricity 125 are all named on the bench. Updates come over WhatsApp with photos of the worn part before it is swapped, and follow-up messages a week later asking how the bike feels are normal.
"He'll examine the various parts carefully before making his recommendation."
Friction exists. A few riders have walked away angry over upselling on simple oil changes, slow service on busy days, and one case of a melted plastic cowl near the exhaust. If you ride a faired bike, point out the lower fairing before the spanner comes out.
