More detail: the full write-up

Best for scooter owners in the west who want a nearby shop for routine servicing, CVT and tyres on Vespa, Gilera, SYM, Kymco or ADV. Get every quote written down before parts go on, and push back on vague labour charges. Newer riders should get a second opinion before agreeing to big-ticket part swaps. Walk in with a clear job list, not an open brief.

The lowdown. Scooter-only workshop tucked in Midview Building, Bukit Batok, off Bukit Batok Crescent. Vespa, Gilera, SYM, Kymco, Honda ADV, Yamaha and Suzuki scooters are the regulars. Day to day it is full servicing, CVT and belt jobs, tyre changes, brake work and parts swaps. Walk-ins welcome but call ahead, the bay gets crowded and queue order can shift.

What riders say. Full servicing is the main draw. Vespa Primavera full service comes in around the $168 mark, ADV and Kymco owners drop in for CVT and belt work, and tyre swaps include rebalancing and a wash before the bike leaves. Mechanic Peter, Ah Woo (no longer on the floor) and Win get named for clean, careful workmanship. Polini and Malossi parts are stocked alongside OEM, and PayNow, cash, Visa and GrabPay all work at the till.

Friction is real and worth knowing. Labour charges on small jobs (mirror install, signal-light swap, axle slider) draw repeat complaints, with $15-$48 quotes for jobs other shops do for less. A handful of riders flag pricing that shifts between quote and bill, and one new rider's carburettor swap on a low-mileage bike loosened twice on the road.

"Be clear about what you want."
