More detail: the full write-up
Best fit for Tampines-side commuters and scooter riders who want fast, honest servicing on the basics and a number to call when the bike won't start. For brake overhauls, electrical faults or anything the shop has to chase down, get a written quote and a clear scope before you hand over the key. For routine maintenance and a tyre change before work, this one earns its repeat customers.
The lowdown. Neighbourhood workshop tucked inside Blk 9002 Tampines Industrial Park, off Tampines Street 93. Open six days, closed Sundays, 9am to 7pm. Day to day this is a general motorcycle repair shop handling oil servicing, tyre changes, brake work, OBU installation and battery rescues. Walk-ins are normal. Ah Huat runs the front; the mechanics work the floor behind him.
What riders say. Most visits are bread-and-butter: engine oil and filter, spark plugs, tyre swaps, chain lube, OBU fitment. Turnaround is quick. A full service plus OBU has been done inside 45 minutes. Pricing on these basic jobs lands below what many Tampines riders are used to paying elsewhere, which is why the regulars keep coming back.
The pickup and tow service is a real one. Battery flat in the Tampines or Expo area, call the shop and they come out. One puncture call near Expo was towed, patched and ready by the afternoon for around $45 all in.
Mechanics will flag loose screws, slack chains and small issues during a service rather than wait for you to notice. That goodwill is the reason for the repeat visits.
Where it gets bumpier is complex diagnosis. Brake pad work has been followed by biting issues that turned into back-and-forth over master cylinder and ABS pump. A starter motor job was quoted around $100 and billed at $250 after the fact.
