More detail: the full write-up
Best for commuter scooter and small-bike riders who want an honest workshop with a long memory. Twelve-year regulars are not unusual here. If you ride a litre bike or want dyno-level tuning, this is not the address. For oil changes, OBU and accessory fitment, and second opinions after another shop has fumbled the job, it earns the trip out to Sungei Kadut. Ask for Ah Heng or Tiam when you walk in.
The lowdown. Scooter and small-bike workshop on the third floor of Carros Centre in Sungei Kadut, run by Ah Heng (towkay) and his wife (lady boss). Moved here from the old Woodlands Road unit in July 2025. Day to day: engine oil, OBU and Chigee installs, accessory fitment, general servicing, and COE-end buybacks on small machines. Honda ADV, Yamaha Jupiter, Lambretta, the usual Singapore commuter mix.
What riders say. The draw is Ah Heng himself. He recommends the cheaper engine oil when the premium one is not needed, quotes fairly, and has kept regulars coming back ten and twelve years. Mechanic Tiam gets named for clean accessory installs (Chigee, OBU, Puig winglet on a CBR1000RR). Diagnostics are fast: bikes that another shop sat on for a month have come out fixed here in two to three working days, leaks and overheating sorted. Lady boss Ms Ho handles phone enquiries and COE buyback offers, and has matched or beaten Bukit Merah quotes by over a thousand dollars on a Jupiter 135.
The shop gets full and waiting times stretch on busy days. Pricing is generally reasonable but not the cheapest line item by line item. One walk-in flagged a $40 fork spring job billed at $180, so confirm the labour quote before work starts.
