More detail: the full write-up
Best fit for scrambler, dirt bike and KTM owners who want a mechanic that rides what he fixes. Less relevant for big-bike road riders or scooter commuters. Pricing is reasonable and turnaround is quick, but expect a small-shop setup with no website and informal scheduling. Phone first, describe the bike and the issue, and bring the bike down by appointment.
The lowdown. Scrambler and dirt bike workshop tucked into Toa Payoh Industrial Park, block 1002. Run by Ah Piao, a mechanic who actually races off-road. The unit handles repairs, parts swaps and tuning for trail and scrambler riders, with KTM parts kept in stock. No frills, no showroom, just a working garage you call ahead before visiting.
What riders say. The work skews hard to scramblers, dirt bikes and trail machines. KTM owners drop in for parts that are otherwise a hunt across the island. Ah Piao is the name to ask for. He brings technical knowledge plus race-pace turnaround. Prices are fair. Workmanship is solid, and the conversation drifts into trail-riding routes if you let it.
Be sure to ask the boss to take you for trail rides as he's the best guide I know.
For a road-only commuter scooter, this is not the address. For anything off tarmac, this is one of the few Singapore shops where the mechanic actually rides the discipline.
