More detail: the full write-up

Solid neighbourhood workshop for the Sembawang and northern-corridor crowd that wants honest diagnosis without the upsell game. Best fit for commuter and Class 2B riders, and capable enough on bigger bikes for clutch, brake and overhaul work. The shop is still relatively young, so check timings first. If you want a mechanic who explains the job before he starts it, you will keep coming back here.

The lowdown. Motorcycle workshop tucked inside Ascent@Gambas in Sembawang. Owner Muz runs the shop with mechanic Wak (Mus and Ghani also work the floor). The work covers servicing, overhauls and parts replacement for Class 2B, 2A and Class 2 bikes. Continental bikes included. Closed Sundays. Walk in or DM Instagram to confirm timing first.

What riders say. Servicing and overhauls are the daily work. 20K full services, EO changes, fork lowers, brake swaps, clutch jobs, tail tidies, tyre changes and horn installs all happen here. Muz walks you through what the bike actually needs and what can wait, which is what the regulars come back for. Several riders walked in expecting a full overhaul and were told to skip it.

Pricing is reasonable and matching prices are quoted before parts go on. Turnaround is fast for small jobs and the shop opens on time, which is a small mercy in this trade.

"Never once try to upsell, always honest with your parts replacement with a matching price."

One friction point worth flagging. A past coolant change ran tap water into the reservoir instead of proper coolant. Pin the coolant brand and grade before they pour, especially on conti bikes that are picky about glycol type.
