More detail: the full write-up

Best fit if you own a Ducati and want Desmo done quicker than the agent. Also worth a try if you have an electrical or legacy-bike problem other shops cannot solve. Less ideal if you want a fixed price on a simple job with no surprises. Push for a written quotation and a clear timeline. Get photos of any damaged parts before approving. Confirm the scope in writing before you leave the bike.

The lowdown. Multi-make motorcycle workshop on Bukit Merah Lane 3, just off Tiong Bahru. Service, parts and accessories under one roof. Ducati Desmo work, Öhlins suspension installs and rebuilds, exhaust restamps for VICOM, OBU swaps, tyre changes and electrical troubleshooting. Open Monday to Saturday, 9am to 7pm, closed Sundays. Appointments are strongly preferred over walk-ins.

What riders say. The Ducati side runs deep. Desmo intervals get done faster here than at the agent, and Jack on the floor handles 796 Hyper jobs, swingarm shafts and parts installs without drama. Uncle Ming is the senior wrench worth asking for. Electrical gremlins, BMW air-heads, Moto Guzzi, odd legacy issues other shops shrug at. He converted tubed wheels to tubeless with an Outex kit and fixed an intermittent aftermarket taillight by re-wiring instead of replacing.

Front-desk Xiao Hui works the schedule hard and gets praise for it. Norman is the boss and gets pulled in when things escalate.

The friction is real and worth pricing in. Quotations creep: oil-change visits have ended up in the high hundreds after follow-on findings. Öhlins rebuild jobs have surfaced extra parts mid-job with prices flagged as not-guaranteed-to-hold. Communication on work-in-progress can go quiet for a day or two. A top-overhaul customer reported coolant leaks recurring after collection.

"This man knows them all."
