More detail: the full write-up
Best fit if you ride a Yamaha or Honda scooter and want CVT work, full overhauls or brake upgrades done by someone who explains each part before fitting it. Not the place for a big-bore sportbike or chain-drive servicing. Walk in expecting a longer conversation than usual; every job comes with a running commentary on what was done and what to watch next service.
The lowdown. Scooter workshop in Kaki Bukit, on the third floor of Synergy @ KB on Kaki Bukit Rd 4. Yamaha Aerox, Xmax and Nmax are the daily work, with Honda ADV in the mix. Engine overhauls, full services, CVT upgrades and brake swaps are the bread and butter. Run by Rahman (also called Man) with Fey, Zul, Ayie and Bear on the floor.
What riders say. CVT work is the core specialism. Belt and roller service, full CVT kit upgrades (MOSA kits especially), and clutch plate fixes down to rare specs like Reveno. Engine overhauls on 100k-mileage Aerox 155s come back feeling like new bikes. Brake upgrades to Brembo calipers and Hel braided lines get done in-house, including chasing down a caliper bracket that didn't fit out of the box. Mechanics walk you through each part before it goes on. Torque-wrench discipline on CVT and clutch nuts gets called out specifically. Loyalty runs long. The same bikes come back across more than one model lifecycle, Aerox to Xmax, going back to the shop's old Yishun Industrial unit.
Good to know."hard to find a mechanic that uses torque wrench to secure the CVT & Clutch nut"
