More detail: the full write-up
Good fit for commuter and weekend riders who want a thorough hand wash at a fair price, especially as a tack-on after a Sanfu workshop visit. Less ideal if your time is tight or you want a guaranteed slot. Block out two hours, confirm the chain treatment at the counter, and check the rims and matte panels before you ride off.
The lowdown. Motorcycle wash and grooming bay tucked inside AutoBay@Kaki Bukit, on the same floor as Sanfu. Packages run from a basic rinse to nano coating, liquid shield and chrome polish. No high-pressure jets, hand-finish on rims and chain. Pay at the counter, hang the tag on your mirror, wait in the air-conditioned lounge with wifi and a drink station. Closed Sundays.
What riders say. Most riders walk away with a bike that genuinely shines, especially after pairing the wash with a Sanfu service next door. The detailing is careful on plastics and chrome, and the lady at the counter handles intake clearly. Staff are friendly across the board.
The friction is operational. The queue is first-come-first-served and waits of 1.5 to 2 hours in busy windows are common, with no callback when the bike is ready. A handful of jobs have come back with chain still gritty, white residue on matte plastics, or streaky coating on the pricier nano packages.
They don't use high pressure wash which is good for the bike
Chain lube is a recurring sore point. The shop deliberately does not spray lube right after the wash, which catches some riders off guard when they ride off and find a dry or lightly rusting chain.
Good to know.- Walk-in queue, no firm appointment slots. Come early on weekends.
- Air-conditioned lounge with wifi and a drink station while you wait.
- Ask explicitly for chain lube after the wash if you want it done on-site.
- Easy combo with a Sanfu service in the same building.
