More detail: the full write-up

Best for big-bike owners and adventure riders who want a mechanic who explains the job. Especially good for GS, Africa Twin or similar owners needing an after-hours slot. Less ideal for a quick walk-in tyre change with no wait, or for a tightly scheduled parts order with hard deadlines. Book ahead, ask for Rashied or Shafiq, and confirm parts timelines before paying any deposit.

The lowdown. Motorcycle workshop and parts shop tucked into a fourth-floor unit at Toh Guan Centre in Jurong East, run by Rashied. Late opening hours, with weeknights running to 10pm, make it one of the few options for after-work servicing. Day to day the shop handles tyre changes, chain and sprocket swaps, fork service, brake work, electrical troubleshoot and SW-Motech accessory fitment.

What riders say. The pull is Rashied himself. He talks customers through what he finds, sends WhatsApp updates mid-job, and will work past dinner to send a bike out the same day. Shafiq is the named second mechanic riders ask for. Customers single out a Chinese mechanic known as Ah Soon for careful tyre work. Brake pad jobs include caliper strip-down, clean and anti-seize on the bolts, not a quick swap. Big-bike work is routine here: R1200GS servicing, FJR1300 and Africa Twin jobs. A CB400X electrical fix for Denali signal lights left half-finished by another shop also landed here.

The friction is volume. The shop is busy, walk-ins queue, and WhatsApp replies can lag during peak hours. There is also a serious complaint on a long FJR1300 and ADV-750 job. The issues: delayed parts, a missing Innova screen bracket and a quote dispute. Pin parts ETAs and deposits in writing before paying.

"He kept WhatsApping me what issue he found on my AT."
