Best for riders who know what to look for on a handover and are renting short-term while their own bike is down. New 2B riders get patient onboarding here, but the fleet is mixed and a tired bike can ruin a first solo week. Walk around the bike, test the gears and brakes in the carpark, and photograph any existing damage before you leave Midview Building.

The lowdown. Motorcycle rental at Midview Building in Bukit Batok, open every day until 10pm and Sundays from 1pm. The fleet spans 2B to litre-class: FZ16, LC135 and WR155 for new riders, R15 V3 and CB400 in the middle, ZX-10R and gen-1 Hayabusa at the top. Walk-ins work, but most riders message ahead to lock a bike. P-plate friendly.

The friction is the bikes themselves. Stalling at traffic lights, a top box that fell off on the BKE. A piston that holed two hours into a rental, an FZ with a hard gearshift that was clearly past its prime. Workshop work is a separate problem: an R15 clutch job done with an impact driver where a torque wrench was needed, friction plates installed dry. Inspect the bike properly before you ride off, not after.
