More detail: the full write-up
Best for commuter and learner-class riders buying SYM or a used bike, especially anyone who wants the paperwork side handled without fuss. The repeat-customer base goes back decades. If you're bringing the bike in for workshop work rather than a sale, inspect it carefully on collection and raise anything odd with Chief Mechanic Ah Huat before you leave.
The lowdown. Motorcycle dealer and workshop tucked into the HDB shop block at 1006 Bukit Merah Lane 2, a short ride from Redhill MRT. Sales floor on one side, mechanics on the other, with a busy admin counter handling insurance, instalments and road tax. SYM is the brand most often mentioned, alongside used bikes that come and go. Closed Sundays.
What riders say. Ask for Ah Boy, Ah Zhong or Ah Lee on the sales floor. They take their time during viewings, walk through paperwork properly and don't push add-ons. Two-day collection on a new bike is normal once the docs are in. The admin team, Irene, May and Serene, is the other half of why people keep coming back. Insurance, instalments, road tax and transfers get sorted at the counter without chasing.
"Have been here since I was 18, 20 years with the shop, bought more than 15 bikes ever since."
Long-tenure customers are common. On the workshop side, mechanic Sky and Ah Tee handle repairs and the occasional walk-in puncture. One recent low-star account flagged a bike returned with a cracked internal screen and loose cables after work, which the owner asked to inspect. Worth raising any concerns on collection rather than after you ride off.
