Troy Garage caters to big-bore ADV machines, with Honda Africa Twin and BMW GS riders forming the core clientele. Day to day they handle servicing, tyre changes, brake work, suspension checks and cosmetic jobs like powder-coated rims and decals. Closed Sundays.

What riders say. The shop runs more like a clubhouse than a counter. Walk in for an Africa Twin service and you end up chatting with whoever's around while the bike is on the lift. Ayeem handles a lot of the technical liaison, with Shiblee and Nazim also named on the floor. Tyre swaps, front and rear brake refreshes, and the occasional rim refurb are the bread and butter. Pricing on standard servicing is fair, and small extras like a quick suspension look-over have been thrown in without being charged.

The best mechanics are riders too and the best workshops are called homely garage.

There is a flip side. Stock on shelf is thin. Tyres and engine oil are not always on hand, so phone ahead before riding down for a same-day tyre change. Pace is unhurried, and bigger jobs may want the bike left for a few days. A walk-in job can get bumped if a GS rolls in mid-service, so set expectations on timing upfront.
